Showed my parents this place & they been in love for months now, especially their shrimp & chicken fried rice. If you want to know about the service, well it's amazing - everyone is friendly due to me & a friend visit one girls night out. They let us come in kinda last minute so thanks for that because we were super hungry & the sushi i had that night was delicious!! 100/10 for me that's for sure

I can't believe I didn't review this sooner! This place is a solid choice when it comes to sushi restaurants, and the quality and atmosphere never disappoint! They have all the typical sushi choices, along with some great gyoza that I like to order just about every time I go. There is also an all-you-can eat option, but once I did the math on how much I can comfortably eat, that option never really wound up being worth the value in my particular case. I'm not going to lie to you - if you go here expecting something extremely high-end or if you're looking for authentic Japanese sushi (and the quality that entails), you may be disappointed. That said, for sushi this side of the pond it's a pretty solid choice and we are definitely repeat visitors!

Everytime I come to this restaurant I have a great experience but this time Ethan raised the bar. He was so attentive to us, so helpful and kind. I wouldn't be exaggerating by saying he gave us the best server experience we've had in a while. 10/10 food. 11/10 service. 10/10 atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We had just traveled from Japan a month ago so this was our first taste of sushi since getting back to the US. To be honest, the sushi in Japan was fresh but being back home we don't feel like we are missing out because there is so much good sushi in CA. We were a bit trepid about an All You Can Eat sushi place because you can never be too sure about the quality of the fish but this place did not disappoint. The service was friendly and nice. The ambiance reminded us of Japan. It was cool to see the left side of the restaurant entirely dedicated to teppanyaki and the right side to sushi. Copious seating and an extensive menu of rolls, sushi, tempura, gyoza and appetizers! All the rolls we ordered were delicious. The fish was good. I can't say it was the best salmon sushi I've ever had but it was not bad. The miso was saltier than what I'm used to but not bad either. If you post a picture of your fav roll they give you free dessert. We got the green tea mochi and that was good! Overall, we would recommend this place! With tip and tax and 1 hot tea our bill came out to $100. Definitely come here on an empty stomach and with a big group--that would definitely stretch your dollar when you go to any AYCE spot.

SGC Japanese remains my favorite place to get sushi. I moved an hour away and am so sad that I don't get to come here as often. However, I will make the 1 hour drive if I am craving sushi. This is not just my favorite spot to get sushi, everyone in my family and everyone I have invited to go with me tells me the same. My favorite sushi rolls are Golden California, Crunch, Viva Corona, and Shrimp Killer. I also like ordering the edamame, octopus and miso soup for appetizers. It pairs well with a large Sapporo beer. I am in no way an expert when it comes to ordering Japanese food or sushi in general so I believe that everything I recommended could be a good option for beginners or someone who has never tried sushi.

Found this gem on yelp. Craving fried rice and tempura. Hubby came across this place and it did not disappoint! Hubby got the red rock roll and shooting star--recommended by our waiter--he loved it! First one he finished lol. He said the red rock was good too but he liked the shooting star better. I got the veggie tempura dinner and tried the crunch roll. The veggie dinner was very good! The tempura was super crunchy and not oily like some other places I've had prior. I was able to get the fried rice which I was craving and omg was it delicious! Hubby had some too and said we would come back just for the fried rice. The crunch roll was so fresh and amazing! My daughter had the chicken bowl but we had to separate everything since she does not like veggies really and we didn't know it came with it lol but no biggie. She said her rice was really good with the teriyaki sauce. Big portions also and very filling. Overall, it was all delicious and super fresh! Came out quickly too. Our waiter was awesome! He helped us with the menu and gave us recommendations. The only thing we didn't try was the spicy ramen and our waiter said it was really good so that will be our next thing to try when we come back. Definitely will be back and recommend it! Thank you!

Today was a good day. The service was great, there were ton of customers... I like seeing people having a good time with friends and family over good sushi. Sushi was good and fresh and most importantly... tasty. Yum. We ate, we had great food... veggie tempura was exceptional today, and so was the mussels. Had wonderful time. Enjoy!
